Yad Vashem

Yad Vashem is the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem, Israel. My Judaism/Israel professor was our guide. The museum features several outdoor exhibits as well as a massive indoor museum with 10 huge exhibits.

Warsaw Square, remembering two groups of people: on the right Jews who left homes and later ghettos at the order of the Nazis, on the right courageous Jews involved in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. Nick, I thought of you.

Megan, with my roommates Spencer (left) and Austen (right). Behind us lies the tomb of Theodor Herzl, a legendary Zionist for Israel. Atop Mt. Herzl, this is the square where the national Israel Independence Day celebration begins each year.

Dr. Ophir Yarden, my Judaism/Israel professor. An incredible speaker and instructor, class felt like Mrs. Meuwissen's IB English class all over again. Loved the constant mind-expansion. In the cemetery of all the former PMs and other officials of the nation of Israel.
